DISCUSSION
Long Beach Gives is a citywide, online fundraising campaign to raise awareness and inspire community giving for Long Beach nonprofits. The campaign’s goal is to inspire individuals and businesses in the Long Beach community to come together to make a difference in the exemplary work of the 200+ local, participating nonprofits. Over 900 peer fundraisers, made up of volunteers and members from the community, shared their stories and contributed to nonprofits' fundraising efforts. 109 restaurants, retail establishments and businesses participated by sponsoring and spreading awareness.

Low Tide Events is committed to constructing a vibrant and interconnected community via the celebration of art, music, and community engagement. Their goal is to offer a multigenerational experience that cultivates positive change and nurtures a sense of belonging. With a pronounced emphasis on health, wellness, diversity, equity, sustainability, and waste management, the organization strives to advocate for a sustainable and inclusive future. Through their endeavors, they motivate individuals to adopt sustainable practices and actively contribute to the advancement of their community.
