TITLE

DISCUSSION

Eli Moreno has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on January 16, 2018, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Eli Moreno, based upon 1) an 89% percent disability rating and 2) a further provision for a Life Pension at the rate of $224.19 per week after the permanent disability has been fully paid. Finally, there would be a provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
