TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $7,500 in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Servando Aguilar v. City of Long Beach.

DISCUSSION

On January 28, 2005, plaintiff tripped and fell due to a sidewalk offset at or near Magnolia Avenue and Cowles Street in Long Beach.  Plaintiff received medical treatment for his fractured right wrist.

At the Final Status Conference, a settlement totaling $7,500 was reached with the plaintiff.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
