TITLE
Recommendation to request City Manager to work with Gateway Cities and the Public Safety Advisory Commission to put together a report outlining the public safety concerns with regard to the I-710 Expansion Project.
DISCUSSION
On May 31st, 2005, the Gateway Cities Council of Governments made a presentation to the 1-710 Council Oversight Committee that provided insight to the progress of the 1-710 expansion. It would be appropriate and helpful to the City Council to receive input from the Public Safety Advisory Commission concerning any public safety issues that could be directly associated with the 1-710 proposal. Therefore, I would like to request that the Public Safety Advisory Commission receive a presentation by Gateway Cities and thereafter be requested to provide the City Council with a... report outlining their position with regard to 1-710 expansion safety issues.
