TITLE

Recommendation to suspend Council rule contained in Municipal Code Section 2.03.020 (B) relating to the meeting schedule of the City Council in order to cancel the City Council meeting of September 20, 2022.

DISCUSSION

With the budget cycle drawing to a close, and the budget expected to be approved more than two weeks before the new fiscal year begins, the September 20^th meeting is not necessary and should be cancelled.

FISCAL IMPACT

Potential savings due to decreased staff time and facility use.

Approve recommendation.
