TITLE

Recommendation to authorize agreement between the City of Long Beach and the law firm of Atkinson Andelson Loya Ruud & Romo to assist the City Attorney in connection with Public Works construction.

DISCUSSION

The City Attorney currently has the need for attorneys specializing in public works construction for Port projects.  The law firm of Atkinson Andelson Loya Ruud & Romo has the appropriate expertise and experience.

Expenditures under this agreement shall not exceed $100,000, unless additional funds are authorized by the Board of Harbor Commissioners.  All expenditures shall be paid from the Harbor Revenue Fund.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
