TITLE

DISCUSSION
Councilmember Uranga would like to support the following community events:

HOPE’s Latina Empowerment Days are one-day intensive workshops created to empower Latinas to increase their community impact and strengthen their skills and knowledge on community leadership, advocacy strategies, educational growth, healthcare, and financial empowerment.

Imagen Nuestra supports Centro CHA’s nonprofit organization and furthers their mission to improve the quality of life for youth, children and families living in disinvested communities through higher education, socio-economic development program opportunities, health and safety outreach and education, and Immigration legal services.

Kwento Natin supports the Filipino Migrant Center’s services and programs, including their new Emergency Services Fund established for community members with immediate needs such as victims of domestic violence or anti-Asian hate crimes, or those in need of immediate support with food or shelter.
