Based on a review of the quarterly report format used for the July 15th reporting period, a new report format was created with the aim of improving reporting compliance and capture of required report details. In addition, expanded Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) were drafted with the assistance of the City Attorney. The new report format is shown in Attachment 1 and the additional FAQs are shown in Attachment 2.
Attachment 3 is the Lobbyist 2010 3rd Quarter Report which lists a lobbyist's reporting history (reports filed), active clients, staff contact points, issues sought to be influenced, and lobbyist names.
In cases where report columns show a blank space, the City Clerk Department will request the lobbyist to provide the information in an amended report.
For this reporting period, there were no registered Business Organization or Expenditure Lobbyist filings.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS

FISCAL IMPACT
The salary and benefit costs for support of the Lobbyist Registration program since adoption of the ordinance and the end of FY 2010 totaled $4,662. Revenues received totaled $2,375.
