• Anthony Bell - At Large Seat - District 4 Resident
Anthony Bell is a Senior Pastor and Executive Director at World Harvest Humanitarian Outreach. His work includes motivational counseling, employment development and selfsufficiency training in correlation with Los Angeles, Riverside and San Diego County Department of Public Social Services.
Commission on Youth and Children
• Benjamin Miranda - Council District 9 Youth Seat
• Owen Sweeney - Council District 2 Youth Seat
Benjamin Miranda is a Jordan High school Student. He Served as a Co-Chair on the Youth Participatory Budget Committee for the ninth Council District and is an Omega Brother.
Owen Sweeney is a student at the California Academy of Math and Science. He serves as the Vice President Temple Israel Long Beach Youth Group, the Treasurer of Feminism Club and volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House.
Homeless Services Advisory Committee • Jeffrey Johnson - Council District 5 Seat
Jeffrey Johnson is an Engineering Manager with Booz Allen Hamilton with experience in managing large complex programs. He volunteered in his youth as a Police Explorer and Sea Cadet and has continued his service mentoring with ICouldBe.org and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Glenn Agoncillo is the Vice President of HMBD Insurance Services in Long Beach and has volunteered with the Kiwanis Club and the Gay and Lesbian Center of Long Beach.
Dr. Kim Armstrong is a Senior Manager with Boeing. She has served in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and on the Curriculum Development Team Advisory Board for the University of California, Irvine.
Bradford Barto is the Exploration Manager for Signal Hill Petroleum.
Regina Cash is the Director of Professional Programs and Workforce Development for the College of Continuing and Professional Education at California State University, Long Beach. She is a graduate of the Long Beach Police Department's Community Academy and is a Rescue Mission kitchen volunteer.
Connie Chan is a Deputy Division Chief for Workforce Services with the California Employment Development Department. She is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and worked in the private sector before working as the Community Service Coordinator at the Chinatown Service Center before joining the Employment Development Department.
Xotchil Covarrubias is the Chief of Staff for United Steel Workers Local 675. She is a member of the National Executive Board at Labor Council for Latin American Advancement and the Financial Secretary of the Local 675 Committee for Latino Participation.
Tommy Faavae is the Business Development Organizer IBEW Local 11.
Ted Hiatt is the Acting Director at the Long Beach Small Business Development Center for Long Beach City College. He has held a variety of roles within the SBDC program in Los Angeles where he also served as legislative liaison for the Network.
Vernard Johnson is a Vocational Team Manager for the California Department of Rehabilitation. He has previously worked as a Case Manager and Counselor working on vocational rehabilitation of youth and adults with disabilities.
Fredrick Johring is the President of Golden State Express. He is also a founding member and Chairman of the Harbor Truckers Association and a past president of Harbor Transportation Club.
Sandy King is the Government Relations Coordinator for Miller Children's & Women's Hospital in Long Beach. She is a member of Leadership Long Beach, Class of 2008 and the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center Leadership Class of 2004.
Weston LaBar is a Partner at PEAR Strategies, a public affairs firm in Long Beach. He serves on the executive committee of the Arts Council for Long Beach and currently serves as the Chairman of the United Cambodian Community's Board of Directors.
Rosi Pedersen is a Consultant on literacy and adult education for the Molina Foundation. He previously worked for the Long Beach Unified School District and volunteered with Assistance League of Long Beach.
Byron Reed is senior vice president and Director of Community Relations for Wells Fargo. He serves on the board of the Los Angeles Neighborhood Housing Services, The Los Angeles Urban League and the Pat Brown Institute.
Larry Rice is an Account Executive with Seaside Printing in Long Beach. He also serves on the boards of the Arts Council of Long Beach, the U.S. Vets-Long Beach Advisory Council and the University Art Museum CSULB Advisory Board.
Peter Santillan is the Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer for Laborers International Union of North America Local 1309. He is a graduate of California State University Long Beach and served on Mayor Robert Garcia's transition team.
Vivian Shimoyama is the President and Owner of Breakthru Solutions a Management Consulting firm in Long Beach. She has been honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and recognized by the U.S. Congress with the National Women in Business Advocate Award.
Senior Citizen Advisory Commission
• Rondii Colson - At Large Seat - District 3 Resident
Rondii Colson is the Committee Chair for the Ambassador Committee for the Long Beach Time Exchange which is a program within the non-profit Building Healthy Communities here in Long Beach. She previously worked as a Parent Educator and Preschool Teacher for Sacramento Unified School District and as a Clinical Social Worker at University of Davis Medical Center Sacramento.
Sustainable City Commission
• Sona Coffee - Council District 4 Seat • . Coby Skye - Council District 5 Seat
Sona Coffee is the Environmental Programs Manager for the City of Manhattan Beach. In her work she has facilitated nationally recognized environmental programs that inspired the community to adopt comprehensive bike-friendly initiatives, implement energy and water conservation best practices, and promote strong pollution prevention policies. She is a member of Green Cities California and is the Vice-Chair of the Long Beach Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation.
Coby Skye is an Environmental engineer and manager with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. His work includes a range of projects related to recycling, waste reduction, pollution prevention, public education, and solid waste management. He also provides research expertise, monthly legislative analysis and other support to the Los Angeles County Integrated Waste Management Task Force and its Altemative Technology Advisory Subcommittee. He is a Board Member Long Beach Area Sierra Club and served on the Long Beach Solar and Sustainability Task Force.
